Still Kickin'

Since I have now been fussed on several occasions due to the lack of blogging this month, here you go. We're still alive and well :) It's just been a pretty quiet month. Of course, Shayne is now home and I'm very jazzed about that, to say the least. Beyond that, not much new going on. Kaya enjoyed her Winter Camporee earlier this month. The Girl Scouts had hoped for some snow while up there but they were out of luck. It's also Cookie Time for the girls. My co-worker's are very kindly shelling out the cash to support our troop and I've been gently reminding one and all to purchase at least a couple of boxes. There have been several comments on my excellent marketing skills :) Surgery is on Monday and I'll be glad to get that out of the way. Once I get it done, a lot of the major stress that's been hounding me these past few months will be eased. I'm really looking forward to February because, as my boss stated, we will finally have some "breathing" room. Our company completed it's move to our new kickass office suite (I have a window. Hooray!), permits for two of our major developments and several smaller tenant improvements will soon be pulled, Shayne is home, surgery is almost here and I can finally relax! That will be so nice. The only other thing that is news worthy is that I am the proud new owner (thank you to Shayne) of the most amazing blender. I've used it nine times in the five days that I've had it. I'll keep everyone updated on great smoothie recipes as I come across them.
