Another One Bites the Dust!

After an agonizingly long day at the office (you know what I'm talking about. It's 4:00 on the Friday before a holiday), Mom and I gussied ourselves up to attend the wedding reception of one of my childhood friends. It was great to see Shane with his new bride, Lisa, but I did get a little choked up. This was the kid who, along with his older brother, Trevor, would tear the legs off mine and Amber's Barbies and pretend that he was Animal, from the Muppets, while we ran around, screaming at the top of our lungs! It was so strange to think of him, as a grown-up. Doing grown-up things! :) And he was just as enthusiatic about his wedding that night as he was when I saw him during Trevor's wedding a few months ago. It was a pretty little party and we enjoyed talking to Shane's family and reconnecting.
Pam kept showing Kaya how to give me sass, just the way I gave it to my mom, way back when and reminding me that I wasn't exactly a little angel myself. I wish the newleyweds the best of luck and will try not to get teary at weddings in the future (keep your fingers crossed, Mandy!)

Ha,ha, I was just re-reading some of your blogs. In this one you said that you would try to not cry in future weddings. Well, ha,ha, you have permission to cry at mine; if I have one! If you do cry at it, it would be funny, because I'm not sure you would be crying out of joy or just sheer shock that I actually got married (big smile).

Take care Andrea! --Jeremy
