The kid signed up with three of her friends to compete in a chamber music competition. Though I can't be sure why the call it a competition. There is no winner. Each ensemble/soloist is judged by some "important" person and they all get scores.
This group had a kid with a mom who just happens to be a professional celloist (sp?).She worked with and helped this group with a passion I could only dream about. And they sounded amazing because of her!!
They tackled the Brandenburg Concerto #5, which is no joke. And received perfect scores!!! Proud. So proud!!
