New Hampshire Vacation

With Kaya away visiting her grandparents and me in between jobs, the man and I decided that it would be a perfect opportunity for us to take a road/camping trip. We went to Maidstone Lake in Vermont which is gorgeous! Also, inhabited by mosquitos hungry for a taste of delicious, sweet and spicy Californian. I even took in two firsts. 1: My first Red Sox game at Fenway during a stopover in Boston (sorry, no pictures). A really fun experience with such an energized crowd. We also saw Kara's adorable new home while there. So cute!! 2: My first bear show. Life has not been lived to the fullest until you witness a bear ride a scooter. An absolute must!!




While camping, I forced Shayne to slave away making me breakfast over the flaming hot campfire. Mmmmmm! Though I thought it was incredible that he had never heard of Hobo Pies and took it upon myself to teach him how to make those for me, as well. Again, mmmmmmm....
