Four weeks ago, I was tasked with coordinating the Grand Opening for one of our new retail centers. As you can imagine, on top of my usual daily tasks, it was quite an undertaking. Particularly since I have never been in charge of an event before. With plenty of research and lots of help from two co-workers, we managed to pull it off. It even seemed to be a success! We had a bouncer, clown, cartoonist, a radio station, free popcorn, pizza, and drinks and balloons out the wazoo! Shayne even somehow managed to get suckered into helping transport some of those helium filled delights. I blame it on my good looks. The best part was throwing some kids out of the bounce house. Ahhh...sweet, sweet power. By the end of the day, we were sweaty, gritty, and exhausted. But in the best possible way.
