Pretty Princess

Just thought that I would share a few pictures of Her Royal Highness, Princess Kaya. Even though she had told me months before that all she wanted was to scare the pants off of folks this Halloween, she ended up going with the sweet little princess costume. Surprisingly, it only took me twenty minutes to do her hair and we practiced once, a couple of days before Halloween. Not too shabby of a job for a first-timer, if I do say so myself! She scored a ton of candy (mostly chocolate. Yummy!) and went with a couple of her friends and her sitter. Mom stayed home because I wasn't feeling too well. Munching on some of the kid's hard earned goodies definitely helped improve my mood, though. She also made chocolate chip cookies by herself recently. From scratch!! I couldn't believe it. Even more unbelievable is that they were edible. The only thing she needed from me (besides spending the cash to buy her some supplies) was help getting everything out of the cupboards. Yep. This is why we have kids. So we can eat soft, warm cookies while they do all of the work.
