Can you imagine raising your daughter in a world like this? While I chuckled a bit at this comic, I was really struck by how fortunate I am to be a woman here and now where, for the most part, the only issue holding me back is myself if I choose to let that happen. What a wealth of opportunity lies before modern women! We can choose to live the lifestyle of the comic or to live the opposite of it, all without being judged by others (mostly). Not to mention all of the choices in between! Our daughters will not be able to imagine a life where there were pretty much only two choices, those being "Conform to society's ideals of womanhood" or "Be persecuted for being different". Wow! And wow!
